Friesen Drillers

Friesen Drillers bears little resemblance to the company founded in 1892 by C.K. Friesen, who started the business drilling for water in southeastern Manitoba with one rig. Today, we use over 40 pieces of equipment to complete drilling projects around the world, and work out of a new 32,000 sq. ft. facility located just north of Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada. Our company is operated by the 3rd and 4th generation of Friesen's.

If you have a problem at home with a dry or contaminated well it can't wait, and if your commercial operation is flooding or in danger from river erosion then speed is important. Friesen Drillers operates at a maximum capacity of 43 drilling rigs ready to move at a moments notice. Our customers have come to expect complete service and Friesen Drillers has been able to deliver with an array of generators, test pumps, water/service units and auxiliary air machinery and hammers to back up our primary drilling rigs.

Friesen Drillers Ltd, established in 1892 and is currently owned and operated by a third & fourth generation of Friesen’s.  Their base continues to be in residential and commercial water well market, however they have diversified to numerous drilling related projects such as specialized pipe piles, ground loop heating and cooling systems and river bank stabilization.

Echo Drilling Ltd; Specializing in the Geothermal and Water Well Drilling industry. This is the residential branch of Friesen Drillers Ltd.

Andrews & Sons Drilling Ltd;  In the over 40 years we’ve been in business, Andrews & Sons Drilling has drilled holes in four continents on projects ranging in size from farm wells to city & town water investigation & water supply projects. Our operation specializes in residential and commercial groundwater wells.
