  • We are caught up on the majority of drilling projects for 2012. We are booking currently at a 1 week time frame and are able to serve those in need immediately. Please call to set up your drilling appointment for your 2013 projects. We are able to drill through most of the winter with the exception of extreme cold temperatures. We thank you for your business in 2012 and look forward to serving you in 2013!

  • Still extremely busy period overlapping into December: After an extremely Dry and hot summer that has led to rapid home building and cottage projects as well as a number of commercial projects. This year has been one of our busiest yet in the residential front. While we try our best to meet your needs in a timely fashion, the demand for our services has been extremely high this year. Wait times have grown to 3-4 weeks from booking date to scheduled drill date. Please keep this in mind when thinking about scheduling your drilling project. In addition, wet conditions & snow play a big factor in site accessibility.  We thank you for your patience and continued patronage. We look forward to serving you.

  • We will shut down Thursday Dec 22 at 2:00 pm-  Tues Jan 3, 2012 and will resume normal operating hours from Monday- Friday, 8:00am -5:00pm.

  • Dec 6th- Peace Towers and Jenpeg Generating station projects have been added to the Project & Jobs section. These include scope of work and slideshows.

  • June 7th, 2011- We succeeded in becoming COR certified in the past few weeks. This could not have been achieved without the co-operation and hard work of all staff and employees.

  • May 19th- The past few weeks we have had 2 crews working full time in Labrador drilling holes for an iron mine. This project is running 24hr days for several months. We look to have this project completed late August.  Updated pictures are in the Project & Jobs section. New pictures were added June 8th!

  • The Canwell 2010 outdoor demonstration was a great success, check ot the section in the News menu bar for pictures of the event. More pictures added June 23rd.

  • The new website is up and running, we are certain that our new site will make our information easier to navigate, and with the new added features, we will be adding news, pictures and more on a steady basis.

  • New equipment rolls into the Friesen Drillers Fleet! March 23, 2010: the Versa Drill V-100NG drills its first hole in Steinbach area. This new drill rig rolled into Friesen Drillers Ltd. yard on March 11, 2010.

  • March 2, 2010: We have a number of quality Drill Rigs that are being offered for sale. A complete listing of specs as well as additional photos can be found under the Equipment Sales.

  • Feb 19, 2010: Friesen Drillers Ltd. adds a 2010 Sonic Drill SDC450-15 to their fleet.
